What is PULSATRAX?
PULSATRAX is a music creation and community platform for electronic music creators, DJs, vocalists, remixers, collaborators, and listeners.
Members can create in PULSATRAX Studio, publish music, build profiles, discover creators, collaborate, share updates, message other users, and join events, forums, charts, and remix challenges.
Who is it for?
Music creators, DJs, producers, vocalists, remixers, collaborators, labels, promoters, event crews, visual artists, and listeners interested in electronic music.
Can I post AI-assisted music?
AI-assisted music is allowed if you have the rights to use the source material and output. Do not impersonate people, clone voices without permission, or hide AI use when it matters for credits, permissions, or licensing.
How do I turn a song into a video?
Open PULSATRAX Visualizer, choose your MP3 or WAV, select a visual preset, and play the preview. Add artwork, a title, or timed lyrics if you want them. Choose landscape, portrait, or square and check your framing before exporting.
Do I need an account? Is my song uploaded?
The live preview is available without an account. MP4 export requires signing in. The Visualizer processes the selected song locally on your device; publishing a track elsewhere on PULSATRAX is a separate upload action.
Why can exporting take time or fail?
Video is rendered on your device. Export time depends on song length, resolution, visual complexity, and hardware. Keep the page open and the device awake. If the browser reports an unsupported codec or insufficient memory, try a supported current browser, 720p, a shorter test, and fewer open tabs. Check free storage before starting.
If another player or publishing service rejects an exported MP4, check the codecs shown in the export summary. Available audio encoders vary by browser. Try another current browser or device if your destination does not accept those codecs.
How do I keep my work?
Download your Visualizer project and completed MP4, and keep the original audio and artwork. Browser recovery and saved looks are conveniences; clearing browser data, private browsing, or changing devices can remove local state. A Studio project and a Visualizer project are different file formats.
Why does the homepage demo sound different from my music?
The homepage uses the actual MilkDrop renderer with a generated demonstration sound. It starts only when you press play. Your chosen song drives the visual response inside Visualizer.
Can I publish the result commercially?
You must have the necessary rights to all included music, samples, lyrics, artwork, logos, and voices. Access to a tool or preset does not grant rights to someone else’s material. Check the relevant licenses and collaborator permissions.
What is PULSATRAX Studio?
PULSATRAX Studio is the browser-based music workspace inside PULSATRAX. It supports arranging loops and uploaded audio, recording vocals, editing and saving projects, collaborating, and publishing finished tracks.
Studio works in modern desktop and mobile browsers. A larger screen provides more room for detailed arrangement and mixing. Save projects regularly and keep your own exports or source files for important work.
Studio quick start
- Start with a drum loop, then add bass, synth, vocal, and FX layers.
- Use matching BPM loops when possible so timing stays tight.
- Keep early projects simple. Four clean elements usually beat twenty messy ones.
- If audio feels delayed, close heavy tabs, use headphones, and try a Chromium-based browser.
Can I upload my own music?
Yes. Upload music, profile media, and studio loops that you created or have permission to use. Do not upload leaked tracks, ripped files, uncleared vocals, bootlegs you cannot legally share, or someone else's work under your name.
How do loops and remixes work?
Loops are building blocks. Some may come from the PULSATRAX Studio catalog, and some may be uploaded by users. Remixing is welcome when the original creator clearly allows it, but a remix does not erase copyright or collaboration obligations.
Can I collaborate with others?
Yes. Use profiles, posts, messages, events, forums, and collaboration tools to find people. Before releasing work together, agree on credits, ownership, revenue splits, stems, release names, and what happens if someone leaves the project.
PULSATRAX can provide the community space, but private collaboration deals are between the creators unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
How does voice recording work?
PULSATRAX Studio may ask your browser for microphone permission. Audio is only captured when you choose to record. Recorded vocals may be saved as part of your studio assets or projects, depending on the action you take.
What if recording fails?
Check that your browser has microphone permission, your input device is selected, and another app is not controlling the mic. Mobile browsers can be stricter, so desktop Chrome, Edge, or Firefox may be more reliable.
How do I report users or content?
Use the report tools on posts, profiles, comments, forum content, events, or stories where available. Pick the closest reason and add details that help moderators understand the issue.
Reports can cover harassment, hate, spam, scams, impersonation, copyright issues, unsafe content, or other rule-breaking behavior. For urgent legal or safety issues, contact [email protected].
How does moderation work?
Reports are reviewed by admins or moderators. They may remove content, restrict accounts, block abusive behavior, review security logs, or take stronger action for repeat or severe violations.
What content is forbidden?
No harassment, hate, extremist promotion, illegal content, stolen music, impersonation, malware, scams, sexual exploitation, adult links, spam, or content that targets people for abuse.
Is my music mine?
Your original music remains yours. Posting it on PULSATRAX gives the platform permission to host, display, stream, format, and share it inside the service so the product works.
If you use loops, samples, stems, vocals, or collaborators, your rights depend on the source material and agreements involved. Keep receipts, licenses, messages, and project notes.
Privacy basics
Account details, uploads, posts, messages, reports, sessions, and studio projects may be stored to run the platform. Public profile and post content can be visible to other users and visitors.
Request a data copy through the privacy email in the Privacy Policy. Delete your account from Profile settings under Danger zone.
Copyright and remix basics
Only upload music you own or have permission to use. Credit people accurately. Do not treat a remix, edit, mashup, or vocal chop as cleared unless the rights allow that use.
How can I get a copy of my data or delete my account?
Data-copy requests are currently handled by verified email request to [email protected]. Account deletion is available in Profile settings under Danger zone. Shared conversations or collaboration history may remain only in anonymized or redacted form so other users' records and platform safety context still work.
Mobile and browser support
PULSATRAX supports modern mobile and desktop browsers. Community features are designed for both, while a desktop or larger tablet provides more workspace for detailed Studio projects.
